This is a pre-course requirement for everyone attending the Oliver McGowan Mandatory Training on Learning Disability and Autism Tier 2 training.

What if I have accessibility needs?

We are committed to making our courses accessible to everyone. Please inform us of any specific requirements when booking, and we will make reasonable adjustments to accommodate your needs.

What is included in the training cost?

The training cost covers, comprehensive course materials, expert trainers specialising in learning disability and autistic experience, an interactive learning session and certification upon completion.

Is course material provided before the training starts?

Yes, registered participants will receive access to preliminary course materials approximately one week before the course start date. These will be sent via email with access instructions.

Do I receive a certificate for completing the training?

All participants who complete our courses receive a Tier 2 certification of attendance upon successfully completing the e-learning module and the Tier 2 training component.

What are the next steps after completing this training?

The Oliver McGowan Training counts towards your continued professional development (CPD) and provides practical knowledge that you can apply directly in your daily practice. BrightPath will continue to build the training we offer and your trainer can make suggestions towards other topics which could be of value to you.

Is there any support available after the training?

Participants are welcome to contact us to ask for further information or follow-up questions.

What should I bring to this training?

All materials will be provided to you but please bring a notebook or device for your own use. You may wish to bring a bottle of water. Your organisation will be able to advise you if lunch and refreshments are being provided on the day.

Do you ever cancel courses?

We have robust measures in place to ensure that training courses do not need to be cancelled wherever possible. If we do need to cancel a course due to unforeseen circumstances, we will offer a full refund or the option to transfer to another course date.

Can I get a refund if I don’t attend the full course?

No, we do not offer partial refunds for missed sessions or incomplete attendance. We recommend discussing any potential attendance issues with us before the course begins.

Do we run Train the Trainer programmes or an Affiliate Trainer Scheme?

Not currently, but we plan to develop these in the future. If you’re interested, keep an eye on our updates or get in touch to express your interest.
